I keep a notepad of a collection of quotes, comments and such that have had an impression on me. Every once in awhile it is so good to read through them. With no particular theme in mind I just felt moved to share a few quotes with you, accompanied by some unrelated shots taken on our Summer vacation.
Maybe you’ll be inspired, too.
A wise person will make the most of their time (Eph. 5:16).
By nature we are all time-wasters.
Just because what you are doing is “good”
doesn’t mean it isn’t wasting the time God gave you,
for you may be neglecting what God wants you to do today
while you focus on something else that can wait.

Where does trust come from?
Hint: It never comes from the good times
and from the easy projects.
We trust people because they showed up when it wasn’t convenient,
because they told the truth when it was easier to lie
and because they kept a promise when they could have gotten away with breaking it.
William Temple, the Archbishop of Canterbury (1942-1944) wrote the following about real worship:
“For to worship is to quicken the conscience by the holiness of God,
to feed the mind with the truth of God,
to purge the imagination by the beauty of God,
to open the heart to the love of God,
and to devote the will to the purpose of God.”
“Keep looking toward heaven.
Look around, and you’ll be dismayed.
Look inside, and you’ll be depressed.
Look up, and you’ll be thrilled.”
(Phillipians 3:14) I press toward the goal to win…….
“Isn’t that what Aristotle said– “We are what we repeatedly do.”
Then Christianity isn’t an act — but our faith is expressed only in our habits.
It’s habits that can imprison you and it’s habits that can free you
and when thanks to God becomes a habit, so joy in God becomes your life.”
“Developing the reassurance habit is easy to do and hard to kick.
The problem is this: there are some ventures where no reassurance is possible.
There is important work for you to do where no proof is available.”

Love to you friends!
“God’s ways work. He is so good.
Though I do not perfectly work His ways,
He is still faithful and full of mercy.
He still gives grace heaped upon grace.”
